Radio One has swapped dial positions of BOOM 107.9 and Praise 103.9. The new BOOM 103.9 has evolved from Classic Hip-Hop to Urban Adult Contemporary. The UAC format primarily plays R&B Music from the 80s, 90s, and early 00s. It will compete with I-Heart's WDAS-FM.

This is quite similar to what happened to two TV stations in Miami, Florida because of the CBS-Westinghouse Broadcasting merger.
WCIX (CBS) 6 moves up the dial to become WFOR (CBS) 4, while WTVJ (NBC) 4 moves to channel 6.
