The first is the location on Wolf Road - this one is still open but is one of the older A-Frame style).
Second is the (former) location in Pittsfield on Route 9 across from Allendale shopping center. Now a Thai restaurant.
Here's the old Kingston location. An old A Frame location, it was closed in 1995, and demolished last year.

Glad you got that one!
Of course, after they built the wide driveway almost on top of it (and where some of the parking was) it made it kind of difficult to re-use.
By the way - do you know what is being built on the other side of the driveway?
They're currently building an Arbys on the other side. They planted trees where the old IHOP was.

South Portland had a IHOP with that style but they recently moved into a newer building. Here is a former IHOP in Nashua, NH.
We had a new one built in cincinnati that occupies the former Bill Knapp's location, to go with Anderson Towne Center. We also have an old styled one that is now an Irish pub.
This building is on Route 896, just off Exit 1 of I-95 in Delaware - it looks like an old IHOP, but I can't be certain.
It has a Quality Inn semi-behind it, which also appears to be an older (two story, outside entry) motel - probably a local place that took the Quality name. Both of these are across from the Friendly's/HoJo combo.
Actaully, my friend, that was an old Horne's. It is a good find nontheless! I would suspect the Quality Inn is the old Horne's Motor Lodge, while the building pictured was the old restaurant.

They do have a similar style. I often thought that the A frame IHOP in South Portland could have been a Horne's. I later found that it was an original IHOP style!

There's one in Springfield, Mass. on Boston Road still in the A-frame style still open. There's also a vacant one in West Hartford, CT which never got an updated treatment (brown, old caps lettering no "IHOP" treatment).

They're putting one in in East Greenbush (NY) - for those who know the area, it's in the original Peter Harris building, next to the bowling alley on Route 9/20, about 1/10 mile from the old HoJo's.

Greensburg, PA, next to the Barnes & Noble on 30, The Boulevard (restaurant), is now IHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mamma is soooooo pleased by this......In this area, best time to go is between 9-9:30am. After the earlies, before the luncheons. I drop my daughter off for school at 9am by the time we got there it was about 9:10am. I must say, other than them screwing up my eggs, and let's face it, I'm a tough customer for eggs, the rest of it was incredible!!! I have missed IHOP so badly since moving to PA, but now I'm a happy camper once again. It's too bad our Old Country Buffet closed down, but now I'm planning on making IHOP the new hangout for me and my friends...yay!!!
IHOP opened in the former Ruby Tuesday at The Brass Mill Mall in Waterbury, CT.
Maybe IHOP can move in when Ruby's closes in Southington although I think they'd get killed by Denny's.

Then why is Ruby Tuesday still open? Usually when a restaurant closes, it does so abruptly, leaving no time for the landlord to advertise it as vacant.
Chris, while usually true I think they've made it known that they were not going to renew their lease.
Here's a shot of the IHOP that I used to love going to when I was a kid. Went there every year up until I was 14 for my birthday. Today it is an "Alpine" Subway. Very funny.

I-Hop is opening soon in Manchester, Connecticut. It will be at 191 Deming Street, the former Applebees. It should be noted the 2 brands are co-owned.
After Ames bought Zayre they sent me down to Jacksonville, Florida to be the official onsite
Ames representative to help with the transition. They kept me in the dirtiest, dumpiest
Red Carpet Inn you've ever seen.
There was an IHOP attached to that place. Ate there almost daily as it was the only restaurant
within convenient (and safe!) walking distance of this hotel, and generally it was late and I was beat.
Nothing against IHOP but I have had no particular desire to go back after reaching that
saturation point.
I-HOP is finally taking over the Ruby Tuesdays in Southington, Connecticut. Ruby's last day for business was Saturday January 24th. They've been clearing out the building ever since. No word yet as to when I-HOP will open.
I wonder how I-HOP will fare against Denny's, which is about 1/4 mile down the road.
Here's what I know:
I-Hop has better pancakes than Denny's.
Denny's is open 24/7, while I-Hop is not. And although it's been a long time since I've been to Denny's at 2AM, Food generally tastes better at 2AM. ;)
Denny's is located directly across from the I-84 On/Off Ramps.
Here is a former IHOP in Schenectady, NY. This was a newer location that opened as early as 2007 and closed in September 2014:

There is an Evangelical church in Kansas City that set up a worship center in a strip mall
where they have some sort of music or worship prayer service going on 24/7 x 365 and streamed
on the internet. They called it the International House of Prayer.
They had t-shirts made and an internet domain calling it IHOP, and sure enough, they got sued by
the pancake people.
A settlement was worked out and the center in Kansas City is now calling itself IHOPKC.
And they have a disclaimer on their website urging other churches who are thinking of doing
this not to call it IHOP.
The former TGI Friday's (which closed in April 2014 after seven years of business) is the proposed site.

IHOP opens to record crowds in Southington
Published: June 16, 2015 | Last Modified: June 16, 2015 06:29PM
By Jesse Buchanan Record-Journal staff
SOUTHINGTON â€" Area residents packed a new IHOP location on Queen Street for the restaurant’s opening day Monday.
The pancake house replaces a Ruby Tuesdays, which closed abruptly in January. It’s been under construction for about three months to create the blue and white IHOP design.
On Tuesday afternoon, tables were busy with first-time diners.
“We’ve been waiting all last week for this place to open,†said Judy Columb. “I like a place where you can get breakfast all day.â€
She had crepes at the restaurant and said the 885 Queen St. IHOP was “definitely†her new breakfast spot.
General Manager Jeffrey Rascher said sales from Monday broke records for Mr. Stax Inc., a restaurant group that owns franchised locations across the country. Mr. Stax, based in California, owns an IHOP in Manchester.
“Yesterday went very, very well,†Rascher said.
He’s also expecting a busy, and possibly record-breaking, weekend. There’s always a surge of customers during an opening and Father’s Day on Sunday will likely mean even more diners.
The restaurant has 50 tables and was entirely renovated, according to Rascher.
“Brand-new everything,†he said.
Queen Street is an excellent location for a restaurant, Rascher said, due to the traffic and room for parking. Jenny Panella, a Plainville resident, works farther south on Route 10 and decided to try IHOP on Tuesday after driving by. She also read about the restaurant’s opening on the Facebook group Southington Talks.
The restaurant hired 110 workers after receiving 900 applications for the positions. Rascher said restaurant experience wasn’t the only criterion for hiring.
“We can train people,†he said. “It’s important to have happy, vibrant people.â€
Employees live mostly in Southington and surrounding towns but also come from West Hartford and Farmington.
Rascher said the restaurant has been busy at all times but expects dinner to slow down after the opening enthusiasm.
“It does settle more as a breakfast location,†he said.

Does anyone know if this sign with "chaser"-style flashing lights around the edge was original to any other IHOPs? I know for a fact that it had the original sign that came with many A-frame restaurants, but I'm not sure if the sign shown here was added after another restaurant moved in.

I-HOP Southington, CT opens June 15th.
I-Hop Southington has been open for almost a year and a half. I have yet to eat there. Here's my observations judging by cars in their parking lot. More people go there for breakfast than for lunch or dinner. The parking lot is usually packed on the weekend for breakfast. The long-time Denny's down the street remains more popular. They're packed a lot of the times. (Then again they are directly off the I-84 Off Ramp and adjacent to a Motel 6).
I've heard (at least this location) that the food isn't very good and that the service sucks. I don't know. I haven't read the reviews on YELP. I know one of my friends told me he prefers Denny's.
