I had XM for 6 months free with my car when I bought it. I have to say it was awesome. Although I had trouble with reception within the city, due to the heights of the buildings.
Love your new ride!!
There is a lot in store for you where clean, fresh and good make a GRAND UNION.

i think we might renew the xm   thers a few areas it  dont come int but   other then that its  woth it we didnt think we whould ever get a brand new car  it makes it look like were rich but  were not at all

I've had XM in my car for over 6 years, mainly for talk radio.  I cancelled after I totaled me last vehicle and about 3 months later they called and offered me a free radio if I would sign up again.

I never got great reception in Dudley, Webster area or even now in Westfield or Northfield.  I got the best reception in Providence and other metropolitan areas.  The problem is in the country all the trees and whatnot hanging over the road block reception.  I can usually predict it when I'm going down roads now.  Anything between you and the satellite literally blocks your reception.

LIke I said, I do pay for it but if they would improve their satellite reception I would say it is worth the $12.95/m

for me it only seems to fade out for 30 seconds nare the  train bridge  on route 12 and parts of southbridge  going in from the dudley  drection

some of my favorite channels were,
the hits
20 on 20
mix
kiss
80's and 90's
It's been awhile since I've had the membership, but at that time they had some great dance and driving music to listen to. It would be nice to have again for some of my long trips to NY for Grand Union photo shots.

Yeah, in these rural areas it fades in an out around tree'y areas and going under overpasses.  I also don't like how they stripped a lot of features off their basic package.  I used to be able to listen to XM streaming on the internet at work, now it's an additional monthly fee...

yea i like willys place  with my neghbors used to get tough drect tv

I must be really lucky as I've had XM (or Sirrus) for several years now and never have any reception problems.  I'll never go back to local radio again!

;)
