Globe Department stores

It was a small chain of discount stores mostly located in NH and Mass.  Their logo is still there today at the site of the former store in Rochester NH.

they had oens in nh in littleton (you will not recognize it because the plaza was renovated and tj maxx moved in), exeter, rochester (it closed 1989), gilford and gorham. the one in gilford was first located in sears headed to wiers beach and is where king's was in airport plaza.

in mass was in methuen and started fall river mass. their stoires were around 40,000 sq.ft.
