There was a shooting the other night at Monroeville Mall in the Pittsburgh suburb of Monroeville, PA.  Seventeen year old gang-banger looking for revenge on someone who crossed him.  Hit two innocent bystanders in the process.

In response the mall is beefing up security.  The Monroeville Police are re-opening an old police station inside the mall that closed years ago.  They are also adopting a "No Unaccompanied Minors" policy.

This mall was famously featured in the movies Dawn of the Dead, Flashdance, Adventureland and Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

Reminds me of the strict policies Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn, MI had many years ago up until the turn of the millennium.
