here is the north shore mall in peabody mass that was built in 1958. it is on the junction of 114 and 128 and from the mall the rival liberty tree mall can be seen. it had a 303,000 square foot jordan marsh (looks like bedford nh and portland me),  a small sears and filene's. stop and shop and kresgie were near the mall. over the years (in the 1980s) the mall became an enclosed mall and SEars was rebuilt. the mall underwent a huge renovation in 1993-1994 as Filene's was relocated to a 200,000 square foot more modern STore and JC penny and Lord and TAylor were added. warner brothers store was in the mall. the mall has filene's basement and milton's. jordan marsh became macy's in spring 1996. KB toys opened in 1997 and clsoed early 2004. the mall has a bottom level with filene's and milton's and Sam goody's and the bottom level is very small. macy's will relocate in the current filene's in early 2006 and the old macy's will become a 144,000 square foot nordstrom in spring 2010. warner borhters store closed in summer 2001. the mall has osh kosh bgosh store. the mall is 1.2 or so million square feet and has 125 stores. outside the mall was a cinema that became Barnes and noble in 2000, a Toys r us that opened in the 1970s and got remodeled in the early 1990s, a Kids R us that is now office depot, and a Shaw's that opened in 1986 and now remodeled. bugabboo creakhouse is outside the mall. t
