Less than one year after entering Boston buy taking over WUBG 1570/105.3 in Methuen, K-LOVE has purchased 50 year rock station WAAF 107.3 FM from Entercom for just over $10 million. 107.3 will flip to K-LOVE programming at midnight tonight.

FWIW, Entercom in its 4th quarter conference call just referred to WAAF as a "non-strategic Worcester FM station with...limited market coverage" (ouch)

For radio nerds here's the last hour or so of WAAF including the transition to K-Love

I Swear i'm tired of hearing about K-LOVE, they're just a Jehovah's Witness-Based conglomerate who doesn't care about actual radio; they just care about profits and making the listener "Feel Good" like all those "Feel Good" churches around me.
