Best Buy Canada closing 15 stores, laying off 900

Hundreds of job cuts at Sears Canada, too, but no store closures...yet...

I think that Best Buy tried to do like in the U.S. and expand to any new bib box retail development. 

In Sherbrooke, they opened a Best Buy 1.2 miles from a Future Shop (A similar chain owned by Best Buy).

2 stores way too close from each other in that market!

In Quebec City, a Best Buy opened at a mall in which there is also a Future Shop store!  For now both stores are safe but for how long?
