Man accused of stealing from Kmart days after buying $8 million private island

A Florida man, who was wealthy enough to purchase an $8 million private island which
was once the setting for the MTV series The Real World, has been charged with shoplifting
$300 worth of items from Kmart.

He was actually buying items and then returning them for full refunds, while hiding used or different items in the box (ahh, the old service desk refund scam.....that takes me back!)

I guess the charge they file for that is shoplifting.

More incredible is the fact that he actually found a Kmart store
that was still open to steal from.
