Title: Aldi Frozen French Onion Soup
Post by: TheFugitive on January 13, 2015, 08:28:31 AM
Aldi sells a frozen French Onion soup that my family absolutely loves.  It comes as little frozen
cylinders about 2 1\2 inches in radius.  Plop it in a piece of crockware and bake for 30 min.

I am not a French Onion soup fan, but my family eats this like it's going out of style.
Which it sort of is.  Whenever I see it in an Aldi store I snap up as many packages of it as I can,
because you never know when (or if) you will see it again.  Store managers have told me it is a
"seasonal item", and it seems to come in very sporadically.

Which is strange because if you had a product that is capable of selling out this quickly,
wouldn't you do everything you could to try and keep it on your shelves?

You would think so, but perhaps it wouldn't sell as fast if everyone knew that they could get it anytime?
