Title: Walgreens shopping cart
Post by: C. Fontaine on May 15, 2005, 10:15:08 PM
This is the sad story of a Walgreens shopping cart that has lost it's way.  It's strayed about a quarter mile from it's home and has been stranded on the sidewalk outside Papa Gino's in Webster, MA for about a week now.  Since it has been in exile, it has now become a makeshift trash receptacle for Papa Ginos / D'Angelos.  Check back here for frequent updates and to follow it's Price Chopper parking lot adventure.

That is no way to treat a shopping cart!

lol:insane:

unless the cart that is being treated badly is  a Walmart  cart
then it would be okay! LOL:insane:

Well, no unfortunate Wal-Mart carts have strayed this way from the store about five miles away, yet...

Well around my area I've seen two Walmart carts  turned over on their sides :bounce:

one in Waterbury

another in Avon

Both were the new grey ones

plus I've seen a previous old one ( metal bar blue handle)
astray in the Torrington Parkade!:yup:

I GUESS PEOPLE REALLY DON'T LIKE WALMART:insane:

Since some of their carts are not where they belong!:bounce::)

Well, here's the end result from this cart.  It got filled about half way with trash, then the nightly maintenance guys took it out of here.

I saved a cart one time!

on Sunday I believe, anyway I saw a Linen's N' Things cart in front of a Borders in West Hartford filled with dirty trash.

HORRIFIED by this sight and knew the cart would be gone if it was left as a trash recipticle so I took the trash out of the cart and put it in the book stores trash can inside and took the cart after I emptied it to the side of the store.

Well hopefully someone brought it back to Linens N' Things.

we'll see.

BTW I believe a shopping cart is NOT a trash can!

well a Wal Mart and a Home Depot shopping cart is a Trash Can u could fit so much garbage in there

This is a former stein drug cart turned walgreens cart and it is now used at a local thrift store from what i can tell it was made in 1975 and im assuming walgreens bought out stein drugs
