Title: Vintage Mustang
Post by: HoJofan206 on August 16, 2005, 01:41:13 AM
My sweet 16 car was a 1980 light yellow Monte Carlo with tan "pleather" interior.  Pleather was plastic looking leather.
It was 9 years old when I got it and I had it until my Junior year in high school when I was hit in the parking lot by another student.  I got more from the insurance guy than what I had paid for it originally!!  :P

A 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner, bright orange with the WB's Roadrunner on the back window, nice spoiler. I'll try to find a picture of it.

My first car, a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe.

I bought it used but the car was like new.  Except for the head gasket that failed twice, the car was quite reliable.  The later Cavaliers were worse in quality and reliability.  The demand was high back then because my 94' was built in may 1994 just before the new updated Cavalier was released.

No new car yet, but I think my dad may give me his '98 Camry next year (but first I'll have to get a job just to pay for the gas and insurance:insane:)

A 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille I bougfht off my uncle. I rteally hated the tan and brown poop skid color to it but I loved how the 425 cubic inch engine could take off. Especially when you consider that those cars were like driving a battleship.

1994 hand-me-down altima. Crashed it. Still ran after an hour in a ditch. That was only in 03 also. Since then I drive like a pro now - - well no snow yet.

My first car was a 1968 Mustang with a black hardtop and it was sweet!  :yup:   I only had it for a few years, but I have always said that if I come into some serious money, I would find the best reconditioned Mustang I could find.  (Maybe even a 1964 1/2 - let me know if you don't know the significance of the year.)

I had a 1978 Sunbird and even though it was poorly rated at the time, we kept it for 6 years until we had to move up to a station wagon.

:yup:
