Is Kohl's a discount store in price, or a traditional department store?
IMO Kohl's is a higher end specialty dept store. They are comparable to Macy's in that they carry alot of the same types of items.(Small appliances, home goods, cosmetics and jewlery as well as clothing)
Kohl's is more comparable to JC Penney than Macy's. When I worked for Kohl's that's who we were always compared to. Macy's sells alot of higher priced items than Kohl's does.
