DOES ANY ONE REMEMBER SPAGS IT WAS LIKE A HARDWARE STORE STORE CLOSED EARLY TO MID 2000S

Spags was located on Route 9 in Shrewsbury, close to the Worcester line.  I used to go there all the time whenI was young.  They had a few different buildings and a large hardware section.  It's considered one of the areas truest and most beloved mom and pop shops.  Eventually they couldn't keep up with all the other discounters (Big Lots, etc...)and it rumored for years they would close.  They ended up being bought by Building 19 and turning into "Spags 19."  They're pretty much a legend around these parts.

THANKS I FOUND A PACK OF HINGES THAT SAID BUILDING 19 PEELED THE TAG BACK AND IT SAID SPAGS
