I was back home in Ithaca, NY visiting last month so decided to go to the Pyramid Mall and see what was new. The whole mall has changed! They are now the Ithaca Mall. Many, new and different stores and eateries. Totally new atmosphere. Kind of nice compared to what it was like when I worked there.
The old Ames store had just that week reopened, converted into a stadium seating Regal Cinema 14. Very fancy with ushers and doorpersons in tuxedos. Part of the store had already been divided into a pet store and Old Navy store a while ago. Seemed so weird to drive around back and have the loading docks, the whole back side totally rebuilt. No sign whatsoever left that an Ames store ever existed there now. One more down the drain forever!! :hurt::no::(
wrong 80% Regal 20%left over space will soon be Steve barrys and the old Regal will be razed to be develop a life style plaza that end of the mall the old navy is part of the old Wards
