Title: Taking the King for a shopping trip
Post by: BillyGr on June 19, 2006, 09:21:45 PM
Well... not really.

But it IS a King's cart.  Probably the only one left from Hudson.

It (along with the red Ames cart) have taken up residence at a senior housing facility down the road.  They keep them for the residents to use when unloading purchases from a car.

Sorry, they are locked in - we happen to know someone there.

Something like use only for groceries, not for trash.

In other words, the carts are there for people to unload cars when they come home with purchases, not to use to take out trash, or other stuff like that, so they stay clean.

By the way, this cart is probably about the size of one you'd find in an Eckerd or CVS today.
