Title: Advance Auto Parts
Post by: videogamer75 on July 14, 2008, 05:30:00 PM
Advance Auto Parts sells auto parts, mufflers, tires, and other things you would need to fix up your car. They used to be called Parts America back in the 1990's and their main competitors are AutoZone and NAPA Auto Parts. I think these store are better for auto parts then Wal-Mart, which doesn't have a very large selection at my nearest store.

Advance recently razed an office building which most recently housed an adoption agency for special needs children.

It is currently under-construction and being built across the street from an existing  Auto Zone store. Oddly enough, the Advance Auto parts seems very small compared to Auto Zone...

Yeah, they just demolished a lot on Main St. In Webster, MA.  It's going up quick, I like Advance way more than I like AutoZone.

My town has a NAPA, and an Advance Auto Parts. Advance usually has the cheaper price, but the other day my dad tried to get sparkplug wires for a Jetta, and Advance had them for 99 dollars, and NAPA had it for 59-79 dollars.

I always find what I'm looking for at these places rather than the big W.

My local Advance opened in 2004 in a former Acme supermarket, sharing space with a restaurant.

My local Advance also opened in 2004. Another one is a former CVS. It is a newer CVS and the only one I know that closed, not moved.

Here's a picture of a former Rite Aid turned Advance Auto Parts I found on the website for the Building Specialists company.
