Title: What can replace the old Shaws and Shop Rite in Waterbury
Post by: CTAmeshopper on November 03, 2008, 05:49:18 PM
Right now Waterbury has to big empty areas near the big shopping strip what do you suggest should go there???

for the old Shop Rite: my guess is a Circuit City, Kohl's or even a Best Buy.

for the old Shaw's: Lowe's or a Best Buy,or a Bob's Store, or another big chain.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but Circuit City is closing stores, not opening them. 155 stores closing including the Orange, CT Outlet.

I was basically brainstorming.

So scratch Circuit City.

Scratch Kohl's too. They just opened a store on Austin Road in Waterbury. Just found that out today. It was in today's sales circular in the Hartford Courant.
