Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Anybody else remember this terrific chain? They used to have locations in Torrington and Waterbury. The last time I remember being in one was way back in either 2001 or 2002 right after the 9/11 attacks. Their chicken was delicious even better than KFC's. I miss them dearly.

The map that came up with the locator focused on St Louis, MO and showed several pins there.  Trying to zoom out seems to show them focused in that part of the country.  The search is kind of hard to use.

it appears that the founder is a nephew of Colonel Sanders.

Yep they are still around  There is one in Anderson Indiana
very good chicken plus they have a spicy recipe too

They used to have one in Cincinnati, but it closed (after being there for 20+ years) due to a Chick-Fil-A being erected next door.  They demolished it, and an eye care store is there now.

I did see another Lee's somewhere else in Ohio, though.
