One thing I have noticed with this new board is that it relies more on cookies than the other one did.  To login on the normal page, you need to have cookies enabled, that's how it tells you what topics and threads you have and haven't looked at.  MAKE SURE that the url in your address bar reads http://www.amesfanclub.com/forum/, if you try to access it from the onlinehome.us address the cookie will not write correctly and login will not work.  You can also try the secure login, that should work.  Sorry for the problems.
