Discuss.
Anchor stores: Sears, Bloomingdale's, Strawbridges and Clothier and Macy's (added in 2003).

This is the mall today. It was remodeled in 2003 to look like Willow Grove Park, the amusement park that was on the lot of the mall from 1896-1976. Before then it had an 70s look to it even though the mall opened in the early 80s.

This part of the mall was added in 2003. Its a small carousel in there that resembles the one once inside the amusement park.

Here you can see the elevator, the original one and the only one in the mall. The Macy's in the background was added in 2003. The space where the Macy's doors are used to lead outside into a parking lot now where the Macy's building is.

Here is the parking garage that was added in 2004. I wish they never built it. It looks tacky and out of place plus it blocks the Sears.

Heres the Starbucks in the mall. It used to be a model train store.

Heres a pic of the mall before they remodeled. In the second one you can see the elevator and the old entrances before the Macy's was there.

Heres a picture of the Sears in Willow Grove Park Mall. The Sears originally was in in neighboring town Abington Pa. in and independent building in the 50's. The Sears moved into the mall in 1983 along with an old Strawbridges & Clothier in Jenkintown Pa. that also relocated and a new Bloomingdales, back when the mall first opened. The old Sears building was later a three floor mini mall and today its a Target and other small stores that were once in the mall, now outside. That happened in 2003. In 2004, the parking garage pictured was added with entrances into the mall and Sears. (Just in my opinion I think the parking garage looks tacky and I think they should have just left that area a parking lot like it was for 20 years.)
