Did anyone else have the Ashley Outlet Stores in their towns.
The moto was:  Yes, you can get it for less at Ashley's Outlet Stores.  The all went out of business in the late 80's early 90's.

The outdoor signage was yellow and black (just like Dollar General Stores).  Ashley's was a discount clothing chain.

Ashley's was comparable to a modern day T.J. Maxx or Marshalls, but they ONLY sold clothes...no housing products.

They just tore down our stand alone Ashley's building to make room for a new Subway restaurant and paint store.  Had I known, I would have snapped up a quick final picture.
