I posted a Silo commerical in this thread: (Fretter was who owned Silo, and I think the Fretter name was used instead of Silo in some places)

I think it was around 1995 or so. There was a Silo in our Galleria Mall until about that time.

There was one in Market Place Mall in Cicero NY

There was one in the Northway Mall in Albany. Its now Davids Bridal, and that's one of the few remaining original portions of the mall after it was demolished. The other original buildings are Staples(former Chuck E Cheese), Lechmere, Cine 10, and BJ's.

This is a (not too great) picture of the Silo in Latham - it is across from Latham Circle mall on the Route 9-Circle connector (for those who don't know, Rt 9 goes UNDER Latham Circle (Seen in the hollow area to the left) and connectors from Rt 9 to the circle and the circle to Rt 9 go on both sides of the depressed section (one of which runs right-left behind the railing).  The road I'm on (which explains the pix quality) connects the connectors (to come from the mall OVER Rt 9 to the ramp to the circle).

ANYWAY, this was later a Big Party store and now sells furniture (as evidenced by the sheep banner).
