News: I forgot my phone when I went out and about in Southington today so no pictures. I also thought my foot was getting better, but as I walked from Goodwill to Price Chopper (next plaza over) my foot was in a lot of pain and I was walking with a limp. My foot is still in a lot of pain at 7:30PM Thursday 10/19. - Brammy

It was caused by a discarded cigarette. I was 5 at the time and could see the flames shooting up in the sky.  I was crying about the toys that were burning.  Since this day I have been petrified of structural fires.  The store ended up rebuilding and opening back up, closing when the chain went out of business.

When I was with Ames in the late 80's we had a store in northern Indiana that was
destroyed by fire.  Same cause.....customer was smoking in the paint department!
