Stage Stores is buying Gordmans and keeping about half the stores open - but will more stores add to Stage's own problems?

The only question is which of the 50 stores Stage will keep...

I'd start with the stores that haven't been open that long, favoring new-construction buildings over previous remodels. There'd be less maintenance expense with newer buildings over older ones. I know that the Gordmans at the new Shoppes of Parma (Parmatown Mall) *just* opened late last year, and was a brand-new construction with the revamping of the mall into an outdoor center.
