Some of the postings on their page indicate that the service/food wasn't that good, but not certain if that is all of it or perhaps just a bad spot or ownership without enough funding to sustain it until it got more established?

TheFugitive

I'm guessing it was a franchised location and the owner was under-capitalized.

Tilted Kilt in Poughkeepsie is now closed. Not surprised!! Only one left in NY is Farmingdale, I believe.

Not surprised, I went there a c ouple yrs ago and it closed early. It was the last one in New England.

Both Pittsburgh locations that I was aware of (Robinson Towne Center and the North Side near Heinz Field) have closed.

The tide has sort of turned against this "breastaurant" concept.  It's becoming viewed as unacceptable with all of the "#MeToo" stuff that's been happening.

The former Tilted Kilt in Robinson Town Center is now a Chick-fil-A.  One of the largest ones you'll find.

Chick-fil-A's old location down by Costco has become a Taco Bell.

Up the hill Twin Peaks has opened which is more or less the same concept as Tilted Kilt.
