I shared some info about this dead mall in Ashland, KY to the dead mall site.  The mall well has suffered alot starting a few years ago.

The mall was built around the late-80's at the same time the Ashland Towne Center was constructed.  However, the mall has suffered alot of setbacks with the closing of K-mart and the lost of major nationally known retail stores.  They still have two anchor stores Elder-Berman and Sears, but with Wal-Mart moving out of the Ashland Towne Center, Cedar Knoll could lose another anchor store.

A month ago someone bought the mall.  He's trying to turn things around.

Unfortuantely, alot of people who live around in my area don't know what this mall is.  Some thought it was the mall was never to be and was a disaster at the start.

What do you mean by that?  Do you think the mall is going to survive or not?
