Matt Canada, the offensive coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh football team, has just
resigned to take the same role at LSU.

LSU reportedly tripled his salary......to $1.5 million per year.

In the election campaign just concluded, and in society in general, one of the hot-button issues
has been the skyrocketing cost of college tuition and the exploding student debt burden.

I have to wonder whether the fact that colleges are now paying assistant football coaches
over $1 million per season has anything to do with that?
