Seems like there are a few people like that that companies should run from - like a certain former Ames leader (and at least a couple other companies before and after that wound up in the same fate).

Yeah, I don't know Joe Ettore kept getting retail CEO gigs despite his dismal track record (Kings, Jamesway, Stuarts, Ames, WiseBuys etc.)

As bad as Joe Ettore's track record was, Peter Hollis was worse.

Ames, Zayre, Fisher Big Wheel, Jamesway.....took them all into Chap. 11 and
eventually out of business.
