Perkins Restaurant and Bakery bashing

I am very unhappy with them my local one just decided to close one day they just left locked the door and left i sign that said we are closed they didnt even tell any of the employees so they all lost their jobs and didnt have any time to find new ones

That seems to be a trend with chain restaurants. They will be open one day and closed the next without telling anyone.

There are laws in most states which require that you give employees at least a 30 day notice before a mass layoff. 

There are exceptions however.  If the franchise holder went suddenly bankrupt for instance.
