It's located in Mason, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati located about 25 miles to the northeast along I-71. Many years ago the decor heavily featured Hanna-Barbera characters but today due to Cedar Fair ownership Peanuts characters now dominate the place.

Not long after it opened it received it's first big national exposure on two ABC sitcoms, The Partridge Family and then The Brady Bunch.

I believe it was also used in the opening sequence of The Banana Splits
(which I am sure you are all too young to remember   ;D )

At 33 I'm supposed to be too young, but back in the early days of Cartoon Network that show as a part of the line-up. To me the show said "Man there are a lot of people in this country who used drugs."

In between Hanna-Barberra and Peanuts, it was Nickelodeon-themed.

Kings Island was one of the parks the were owned by Paramount Pictures and had rides named after movies like "Top Gun" and "Face/Off". The movie theming was removed when Cedar Fair bought Kings Island.
