there a new eglan based store they have filed for ch11 just rectley there also in a leagle battle with Bob's Discount furnter they say there stealing there name lol witch i dont think there doing anyways nevre get your furnter at Bob's Discount furnter it sucks and its crappy

from what i hear they might be going out of bizz only after 14 years:( witch is short lived:( they had about 40 something stores

It appears the company started in 1991.  The chain grew up to 11 stores in Maine and Rhodes Island.  They had plans for larger stores and to expand in New Hampshire.

They had stores in at least two former Ames.  Some stores were closed, they recently announced the closing of Skowhegan but now it's the end.

I think that Bob's discount went out of business ( not Bob's Discount Furniture)  

The son of the founder started his own chain of closeout buy-backs discount called: "Chapter 11"

They will open a store in Lewiston, ME in part of a former Shaw's and opened in Skowhegan in the former Bob's/Ames ( picture below)
