11P - Abbott & Costello's Christmas Special and

Being a radio pro I'm sure you know this, but in the Golden Age of Radio
very often programs were produced as abridged versions of movies, many times
with the actual movie cast, as a promotional vehicle to inspire audiences to actually
go out and see the movie.

Miracle on 34th. Street and It's a Wonderful Life fit into this category.

Not unlike how Readers Digest Condensed Books were used at the time to
promote the actual books.
