Hartford, Connecticut is getting a Hard Rock Hotel and Cafe. It's going to be built across from the new Yard Goats Baseball stadium. It's supposed to open in 2018 and will feature a rooftop pool, spa, and gym.

The Rivers Casino here is located just steps from Heinz Field and PNC Park.

So......we can place a casino virtually next-door to a pro baseball stadium.
And MLB can hold a minority ownership stake in DraftKings.com.

....but Pete Rose's lifetime ban can't be lifted WHY exactly??

He made bets on baseball while he played for the Reds in the 1980s. The practice of betting on baseball while playing is illegal.
