How many are still around? Most were sold and rebranded. I think there is still one in Simsbury, CT.

The one in Waterbury, CT became Regal.

There was a Hoyt's in Manchester, CT years ago, It's now called Parkade Cinemas.

The theater at the Mall of Monroe in Monroe, MI started out as a Hoyt's, then they became Regal and they are currently part of the local Phoenix Theaters chain.

This is from Wikipedia, but seems accurate as there are links to all three locations also come up in a search for Hoyts

In 2003, Hoyts sold its Hoyts America operations to Regal Entertainment Group except for the Simsbury, West Nursery and Providence Place locations, which will remain the locations of Hoyts America.

As of January 1, 2019 The Hoyts in Simsbury, Connecticut is Apple Cinemas. They're a Massachusetts based theater ownership group that owns theaters in Cambridge Mass along with Waterbury, Barkhamstead, and as of February 1, 2019 Torrington all in Connecticut.
