Casey Kasem American Top 40: The 70's

3WS here in Pittsburgh has been running these on Sunday mornings.
They are the original Casey's Top 40 shows from the 1970's.  They have great
nostalgia value for me being old enough to remember when they originally aired.

This week's was from September, 1975, and was particularly notable because on the
list of new stations that Casey was welcoming to the AT-40 family that week was
WPEZ in Pittsburgh.  So this was the very first AT-40 to ever air here.  On the station
that is now 3WS and continues to air them.

Had to laugh when he mentioned that the #1 song on the country charts that week was entitled
"I Don't Want to Have to Marry You"   ;D

And something I didn't remember....most weeks the bottom 20 of that Top 40 was really BAD!
When people rip on 70's music I guess it's not without reason.
