The former Ramada Inn (ex-Holiday Inn) at Eureka and I-75 in Taylor, Michigan was demolished this summer. All photos courtesy of the Downriver Things Flickr page.

Here's what the entrance looked like.

Are there articles about this demolition out there?

About a mouth ago the Motel 6 and adjacent Best Economy Inn (both low rent motels) were torn down. A Ramada Inn on Busch stands vacant, so it might be torn down, too...

And guess what the old Ramada Inn (lastly it was a Comfort Suite) was torn down a year ago. The sign on Nebraska Ave was painted over, but you can see Comfort Suites if you look hard enough.

From that picture it did not look too bad, at least on the outside.

We recently had a Motel 6 undergo sudden demolition here.
The rumors are that someone was messing around with a meth lab/processing
fentanyl in one of the rooms, which basically rendered the whole place a toxic
waste site.

I was watching a YouTube video about an abandoned Days Inn in Birmingham Alabama. The place been closed since 2015 and one side had fire damage... I guess it will be torn down soon...
