This is what they call in the business a Death Spiral

It's just going to get worse and worse for sears since they don't have the money that they need to take care of stores. I wish they would just end it and go out of business for good since all they are doing is just dragging out their own death.

Okay. Is there a list somewhere of the 235 stores that are closing?

Next question. It's just a what-if question. My Mom went to the Meriden, Connecticut store on Sunday and put a vacuum on lay-a-way. It's for 8 weeks. If the Meriden store were to close before then - what would happen to my mom's new vacuum?

P.S. If the Meriden Sears were to close Westfield might as well evict the rest of the tenants and bulldoze the mall. I don't know how the mall would survive with only one anchor.

I've been wondering that myself.

If the Lincoln Park, Michigan store is on that list, then Dollar Tree may have to just relocate somewhere else in the area and the Lincoln Park Shopping Center will be history, since there's no way a shopping center that big will survive with just one small-sized dollar store.

And they are literally the only store left at Waterford Township, Michigan's Summit Place Mall and if that closes-well, this means that that whole area is gonna get redeveloped somehow.

Always wondered of the Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall will ever close since no one really goes there anymore. Though it would kill this mall

EDIT: I shouldn't have known this earlier...the Sears at Summit Place already closed last month.
