Bristol, CT in Bristol Plaza next to Starbucks. Opened a few years back. Store used to be a Big & Tall Shop which moved to Waterbury when they rehabed the plaza where the Price Chopper (now Shoprite) opened. The other half of the former Big & Tall shop is now a liquor store. Pic taken yesterday 4/24/09.

Closed in August 2014. Became Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in November 2014.

The only Carvel shop I remember in my area was one in Norwich Ct. It closed quite a few years ago, but my Mom would always pick up a cake for my birthday there as a kid.  Its now a Dublin Donuts.

Lol, I should proof read my replies when I'm using my phone. Autocorrect makes some strange changes.  ;D

Looks like they're reopening Carvel in Bristol, Connecticut across the street from their former location at the Bristol Plaza. Apparently they're going to be part of a new burger joint that's opening next to McD's called Fresh Worx.

TheFugitive

Never had Carvel stores in Pittsburgh (though I fondly remember their cheesy ads from
when I had WWOR-TV on my cable)

Closest outlet is on Ford Road in Canton, Michigan and like TheFugitive, I was first introduced to Carvel when I watched the commercials on WWOR-TV (back when it was a national superstation and it was carried on our Wayne County Cablevision (which later became Comcast) headend in Southgate, Michigan alongside WGN-TV, WTBS (before it was split into a national TBS cable channel and a local station in Atlanta with the WPCH calls), a couple of Toledo stations and all the full-power Detroit stations) in the 1980's.

TheFugitive

I had it on the Warner QUBE system in Pittsburgh in the 80's.
Loved coming home after class and catching the old Hawaii Five-O
or a Mets game on this channel.
