Is it just me, or is the guy in the current set of Arby's commercials screaming
"We Have the Meats!" at the top of his lungs really pretty creepy?   ???

Doesn't bother me.

Why is it when I first read that, all I thought of was the sponge monkeys saying we love the subs from Quiznos a number of years back?  ;)

I'm glad Arby's went at a second attempt at a new logo. Their first attempt was bland.

I'm not at all annoyed by those new ads. It's the same guy that says "Don't even try it!" in those security equipment ads.

Cheshire, Connecticut Arby's is closed. Not sure how long they've been closed. I saw it was closed when I was in Cheshire yesterday. Google Maps shows it open in 2011 and closed in 2015.

One of those right here in Western PA.

Never been a fan of venison myself.  But having spent most of my life between PA and
Michigan people have always been shoving it at me.

I guess this means there is some commercial slaughterhouse that processes venison?
I don't think restaurants are allowed to serve wild game in most places.

BillyGr

Probably ones that are raised for that, similar to the local farm here that raises bison for eating.

A few Arby's restaurants in my area will serve the venison sandwiches.

Southington Arby’s open for drive-through customers only during renovations

SOUTHINGTON â€" The windows of the Arby’s restaurant on Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike are boarded up but the sandwich shop is still operating its drive-through while undergoing renovations.

A worker at the restaurant said Thursday that the dining room would be closed until May 2nd for remodelling. The restaurant’s kitchen is still operational and is serving customers through the drive-through.

Arby’s is at 867 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike.

One of our Wendy's did the same during their recent renovations.

Lucky you. The Southington Wendy's looks like it hasn't been remodeled since it took over the old Roy Rogers more than 25 year ago.

As someone with Greek blood in him I'm offended by this crap Arby's is trying to pass off as gyros.

TheFugitive

Yeah, if it doesn't have lamb in it, it's not a gyro.

Pikapower

I like Arby's gyros, I think they're great!

I agree! Of course, they may not be "authentic" gyros, but they're great gyros none the less.

Just had a Nashville Hot Fish Sandwich for lunch.

It was tasty.  But it definitely did not taste like a fish sandwich.
This is the fish sandwich for people who do not like fish.  The spices
in the coating overwhelm any other flavors in there.

Arby's just switched from Pepsi products to Coca-Cola products.

TheFugitive

Arby's has rolled out the Arbynator, a sandwich with a half-pound of Arby's
roast beef, topped with Arby's sauce, melted cheese and curly fries.

Fries on the sandwich is a Pittsburgh thing (Primanti Brothers) that seems to be
percolating out to other parts of the country.

Arby's website claims that the calorie count on this sandwich is 810.
Not sure I can believe that from looking at it.  Has to be into four digits at least.
