Wok Inn (Portland, ME) closing

Definitely not a story on the level of the Hilltop closing, but The Wok Inn is closing today after 32 years. They located at the site of the former Howdy's Beef N' Burger and expanded in the late 1980s. They had issues last year with an aggressive health inspector (who left recently under a cloud) that resulted in a temporary closure. Their business has suffered ever since then, and combined with high rent sealed its fate. Between this and the Wok Inn in South Portland that closed last year, it marks an end of an era in local Chinese cuisine. The property is up for lease:
