On the advice of a friend when I was in Waterbury, Connecticut last week I stopped into Mr. Wok Chinese Buffet for lunch. It is located in a run-down shopping center called MallView Plaza behind The Naugatuck Valley Plaza. From previous experience I already knew Mallview Plaza was run-down, so I wasn't going to judge the restaurant from the looks of the plaza it was in.

When I walked into the restaurant I should have ran out. The first thought that came to mind about the place was "What is this the 1970s?".

My plastic soda glass was cracked. Most of the food was cold and not very tasty. With soda and tax it came to $9.60 - I would've been better off spending a little bit more and went to Royal Buffet across the street in Shoprite Plaza which I know has great food.

And here's the topper. That night around 2AM I got really sick. I will leave out the details, but I will just say it was not very fun.
