5 & Diner/Diner 254

I'm not sure if "5 & Diner" is a franchise or not, but I thought this was the most unique repurpose of a building I've ever seen. The owners of the local Quaker Steak & Lube thought that they'd open a second, smaller eatery next to the wildly successful QSL. Thus, "5 & Diner" was born. It was like going back to the '50s. It didn't last long, and has had two other 'diner'-type restaurants in it since 5&D went out of business.

What is it now? Well...

Montrose Kia bought the building and is now using it as a car dealership! The best part: Judging by the pictures, all of the diner seating/fixtures are still there!
