In order to attract new tenants Urstadt Biddle Properties has divided the former Linen & Things and former Old Navy in Townline Square in Meriden, CT into smaller spaces.

The ones in Plainville and Waterbury both remain vacant. Both are in plazas owned by DDR and both are 35,000 square feet. They've been using a small portion of the former Plainville location for Spirit Halloween the past couple of years.

For 3 days only they're going to be using the former Plainville LNT for a Huge Liquidation Sale. March 15th, 16th, and 17th.

They ended up using the Plainville Linens & Things for the Wholesale Sale for several weekends after that. Now the landlord has divided the 35,000 Sq. Foot space into 4 smaller store fronts. One is going to be a Charming Charlies. A second will become a 5 below.

Stork of The Weak

Why did this chain have to go under? Their stores were nicer than Bed Bath & Beyond for sure. I must say though that it seems Christmas Tree Shops and Buy Buy Baby (both owned by BB&B) were better chains to be affiliated with than Marshalls, KB Toys, and CVS, all of which were once part of Melville Corporation which owned LNT.
