My name is Benji, and I'm 33 years old.  My mom and I shopped at the Ames store in High Point, NC, since the company's buyout and reconversion of Zayre in 1990 and before when it was still Zayre.  When that store closed in 1990, I was shocked and saddened, but at the same time, everything happens for a reason even though people blame the buyout for Ames' downfall.
