here's their first store got it off the history of C-town part of their website it doesn't explain what the C means or why its called C town:huh:

I think its just to get peoples attention

Subway at one time had billboards saying "Subway" three times with each one under the other over a brown background

I know this because theres one that can be seen in the 2nd Ace Ventura Pet Detective movie lol :insane::insane::insane::insane::insane:

as I said before I think they repeat the name to get peoples attention


but with C town its kinda stupid

I mean if you were showing your logo would you want people to read it like "C town town "?

I would hope NOT! lol:insane:

A brand-new C-Town just opened in Farmingville (about 10 minutes away). It's pretty weird because a supermarket like that doesn't usually open in brand-new constructions.

The one in Waterbury, CT is being rebuilt. It burned down mysteriously several years ago. No link to an article. Waterbury Newspaper's website is missing.
