These are beginning to pop up in CT now.  A great place for a burger.  Fast, easy, terrific service, a bit pricey though.

3 of 7 in my neck of the woods occupy places which didn't last all that long, Mystic (former Quiznos for a year or so), East Lyme (Former Wendy's which was built brand new and only stayed open for about a year as well), and Middletown (Former Old Glory store, they moved down the road and still in business)

With other restaurants closing, their website states over 200 restaurants will open this year.

Yea theres one up here n Nashua NH havent been hurd its really good tho

They're in Farmington, CT across from Tunxis College. They're always jammed. They replaced Uncle Sam's Restaurant which moved to Route 229 in Bristol down the street from ESPN going towards Bristol.

To give a bit of history, Five Guys started up in the 80's in Alexandria, Virginia, and up until 3-4 years ago, kept a very low profile. They have expanded like crazy since, and open up a new location pretty much every week it seems. Kingston and Poughkeepsie have a location. Albany has about 5. Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls have one as well.

Obama is in Nashua toaday and its rumored hes at Five Guys right now

Marc82

Yeah. I heard he loves his cheese burgers.

Finally ate at the five guys in Nashua, NH on my way home from work. I ordered the little cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoe, onion and pickles topped with ketchup and mustard. Added a small fry and a soda for just under $10.00
It was pretty AMAZING although there was so many french fries I threw half of them away.... Sad cause they were SO GOOD!   ;D
There is a lot in store for you where clean, fresh and good make a GRAND UNION.

BillyGr

Yes, it wouldn't be bad IF the fries were just what fit into the cup they have, but they always seem to wind up with another cup worth (or more) loose in the bag.

They need a new "Fries for One" size!

NJxxJon

Healthy burgers and cheaper than some fast food places.

OMG-had my first visit on our way to Atlanta and I can see why people rave about them.  The best fries I've ever had!!!   ;D

One is opening in Keene, NH in the former Strawberries/FYE

Still haven't eaten there yet, but the one in Farmington, CT was jammed on Saturday and it wasn't even Noon yet. My bank has a branch across the street from them so I could see their parking lot from the bank.

New one just opened in an old "Diner Car" style restaurant in Groton, CT.  It's huge and they did a really nice job remodeling the place.

Props to these guys for finding places which need restaurants to occupy, rather than building yet another building.

There is also one in Manchester in part of the old Tweeter I believe.

Just found out that we are lucky enough to have one here in Memphis now!  (Let's hope we can hold onto it.)    :) :)

Five Guys is opening a new location in Norwich, CT.  It is going to be in the former Tim Horton's/Coldstone Creamery building.

The Five Guys chain is expanding into Seacoast New Hampshire, starting with its just-opened Dover location

Here's something you don't see often (or at all???) - a failed Five Guys franchise.

^ That's heinous, and Five Guys has always good food in my opinion!

They need to open a Five Guys in Southington, CT. There's no place in town to get a decent burger. Perhaps they can go in the former Ponderosa.

The Maine Mall area is getting a Five Guys; this would be the second in Greater Portland (the other is in Portland's Old Port.)

Forgot to mention that Five Guys recently opened in Bangor. Do you get the feeling they might be expanding a bit too quickly?

It would seem that way but I've never been in a location (or driven by one) that wasn't busy. Seems like the product is doing well and the locations are staying busy.

It's such a better product than Burger King/Wendy's/McDonald's and still around the same price point, I don't see how they can lose.

Maybe it was the fact that their food is far more greasier than foodstuff from McDonald's/Burger King/Wendy's! But it's still better tasting than the food from the usual suspects!

^It's true, if you get food from Five Guys to go you could seen more grease spots on the bag than if you were to get food from McDonald's!
