new super wal-mart in waterville maine! it is 207,000 square feet and opened a year ago. it is off exit 130 and behind Elm Plaza. IT appears that it did not affect Kmart by much.

Wal-Mart in Biddeford, Maine.  The store is not aligned with the parking lot and the side wall is bare.

1) Maybe they were not able to buy the land at left of the building ...

2)Or maybe they wanted to build the store in a way to leave space for a future expansion to a Supercenter...

It really looks like half of a Wal-Mart store !!  The answer is (2)  Today the store is a Supercenter.
