My sister LOVES this store. Closest to home there is the one in Westfarms Mall. When we go to Buckland in Manchester, she'll go there as well. I personally never care to go in there, because I'm far from the store's target market and the music is way too loud. Those employees will be deaf by 30.

I like getting my Super Mario Bros. and SpongeBob SquarePants t-shirts from that store. Their music is loud, and yes, their storefronts have a dark, Gothic look to them. I went to the Hot Topic store at Bay Park Square in Green Bay to find a SpongeBob t-shirt I wanted, but they didn't have it. So one day, I went to the Hot Topic at Fox River Mall in Appleton, still no luck. One day, I found it online at Hot Topic.com and purchased it there. It arrived three days later.

I like this store as well. Picked up my spiked collar and wristbands there, my fiance loves the clothes too. The music has been lowered and the staff don't have the spiked hair or emo look as much as they used to. This is one little niche store that doesn't look like it is in any danger of closing.

Hot Topic stores have that "goth freak meets geek" vibe to me.

My ex used to love this store but I would stay outside. I have social anxiety, it's nowhere as bad as it used to be when I was younger but the loud music, cramped space, and people my age made going in their super uncomfortable.

I took something for my anxiety the other day and was able to go in one with a normal mindset and I actually liked the place. Most of the stuff that is tv/movie related didn't interest me but I liked the music they had playing and the ba d merch.

I love the products inside but the atmosphere is just out of what I like.

If I go to a mall, I still go in out of habit, but yea at 32 it's starting to feel odd going in there lol (and spencers), rarely ever buy anything in it now.
