Banks - First Federal of East Hartford became Savings Bank of Manchester.

Saving Bank of Manchester - became Alliance Bank

Alliance Bank - First Niagra

And now about to become Key Bank as First Niagara has been acquired.

I got one more category we can add to "THE LIST" (and some stores to add)

Mall based stores (stores that had most of their locations in malls)
*Limited Too (2008; Now Justice)
*The Limited (2016/2017)
*77 Kids (was the kids brand of American Eagle Outfitters; 2012, became Ruum American Kidswear)
*Brothers (the boys brand of Justice 2015)
*Warner Brothers Studio Store (2001)
*Ruum American Kidswear (kids clothing store that AEO sold 77 Kids to; 2015)

Didn't see, maybe I missed it, but is Linen's and Things on here? They went belly-up a few years back.

EDIT nevermind, I see they are operating online only.

Local discount store
Benny's, they aren't technically dead yet, but they are already closing up shop, with over half their locations closed so far, including all of them in Connecticut. And they said they'll be gone by the end of the year, so we might see many more closings in the coming month or two.
